How We Treat Dental Emergencies

No two dental emergencies are alike, so the type of treatment you receive will be different than what someone else might need. However, you can expect us to follow the same process when treating these crises. But first, you must call our office to let us know what happened. A member of our team will listen to your symptoms and provide effective ways to manage the pain while you wait for your appointment.

Once in our office, we will:

  • Examine Your Mouth: Using digital imaging and a visual examination, we will look at the problem area and determine the severity of the issue.
  • Develop a Treatment Plan: After completing the examination, we will develop a plan that incorporates the service(s) we will use to treat the injury and help you out of pain.
  • Administer Care: Once you are satisfied with the recommended plan, we will begin to deliver the care you need so that you’re no longer in pain, and your smile is fully restored.

The Most Common Dental Emergencies

Even if you suffer a cracked or chipped tooth and think it’s not a big deal, it’s best to call and let our office know so that we can determine how quickly you should get in to see us. Waiting too long can lead to a more problematic situation, so err on the safe side and contact our team.
